Any news on the BB roster for the upcoming season? Diahame? Reid? Clarke? All roster spots filled? First time caller... long time listener.

The typical "cone of silence" from the Athletic Department keeps us long timers guessing at what may be. But, here's what we know.
PG - Jaheim Tanksley PG - Bryce Eaton SG - Armoni Zeigler SG - Elijah Perkins SG - Brent Bland SG - Eric Morgan, Jr. SG/F - Marcus Randolph F - Jaquel Morris F - Zaakir Williamson F - Mouhamed Sow C - Stephon Roberts
Possible returnees: PG/SG - Roy Clarke C - Oumar Diahame
If the last two come back, that would be a roster of 13 and it would appear that we are done. So I don't believe that Reid will come back.

SPC91, thankyou for the cliffs notes version. I like it short and to the point. Take some money out of petty cash. BTW, I see Edey from PurWho projected 24th to the Knickerbockers. Good luck on that. 8 minutes a game.... tops.

Per Figgy,Diahame will be back. Hard to believe it after 2 years out but he told me he would be back when we were in Charlotte.

Spcfan, I hope it's true. Will go down as the Willis Reed of the MAAC. Btw, I was a Knick fan then.

I was a die hard Knicks fan growing up when they had Willis Reed, Bill Bradley, Dave DeBusschere, Walt Frazier, Dick Barnett and "Earl the Pearl" Monroe. I moved to Boston in 1974 and became an ardent Celtics fan when they had Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Dennis Johnson and Danny Ainge. Getting back to the basketball roster, I think we look pretty good on paper. Diahame and Reid would put the finishing touches on the team.

I believe my info on oumar is pretty solid. As to Clarke no update beyond what I had heard that they were holding a spot if he got a waiver. Have heard. Nothing since that and that was a number of weeks ago

SPC91, well put. I'm looking in my crystal ball and see that NIL will be an absolute death-knell for paid athletes ( I was going to call them student-athletes). Within 7-10 years, you will see the IRS, agents and attorneys being involved and the NCAA defunct like manual typewriters and black/white tv's. These kids see dollar signs at 18-19 years old and I'll say, the majority of them screw it up.

Just watched Eric Morgan You Tube video highlights from this past season. This D2 newcomer looks like he can really light it up, great speed, with unlimited range and the ability to pull up off the dribble. It has been awhile since we have had a recruit who can shoot like this. If the real performance is anything like his highlight tape, we will have an outstanding offensive find. I have not checked his shooting stats which could negate the tape but I would be surprised if his stats are not solid.

Brief update: coach Mack just decided to leave coaching and do something else. NOt sure but I think Clarke is still up in the air with ncaa regarding waiver which if true is ridiculous. Its almost July for Pete’s sake but I vaguely remember that the committee which makes such decisions only meets occasionally but I’m not sure if that’s still true given how many situations now exist between portal issues Covid and medical questions
