Thanks for post giving us a little hope here . If you google him , there is a video . He is quoted ( some time ago ) as saying important thing to him is playing time . Hopefully , that and Willingboro connection gets us this big who says defense and rebounding are his strong points .

As I've mentioned in the past, Dunne has several bigs on the radar......many of these are JC's. He more than anyone, recognizes the urgency of landing a big that will be an immediate contributor. I'm just as anxious as everyone else, but there's plenty of time left on the clock. The Spring signing doesn't end until May 18th and you can sign a player up to the first day of school, so there's no reason to panic. All indications are the coaching staff is confident that they will land some good recruits. I also get the impression the coaching staff is not about to panic if it doesn't happen by May 18th.

Look for at least one signing in the next week. My educated guess would be we get at least one JC tranfer with a good chance of two- always a risk but with our current makeup a chance the staff needs to take. With the past experiences of announcing NLI signings, there's a good chance that we'll know who's signed by the start of the season

As posted previously, the Athletic Department will post sometime, probably before the end of May, a list of all NLI signees for every sport. However, as eport has pointed out JD can sign any player (without an NLI) until the first day of school. That said I agree with peacockblues educated guess.
Actually, while we are all disappointed by a lack of apparent success to date the flip side is that JD and staff could have easily signed a bench sitter but they are aiming higher...immediate help. Good strategy, hope it works.

Have to trust our Staff on this one. Yahoo highlight reel seems to indicate a vertical that (very) slightly exceeds Kamal McQueen's. www.youtube.com/user/0Six89

Loyal, have no idea if we will get this kid or how good he if but he is #15 in the highlight reel this kid can get off the ground. don't know what you saw but on one play he went up and over a player who had him boxed out to get a rebound. Also looks like he can hit the medium range jumper.
Who knows how much a JC transfer will contribute but JD is apparantly going that route and I think we all agree that it is the way to go.

Agree 100% the JC route is the way to go. Maybe Ryan Bacon spoiled me the past few seasons re: an inside presence. Still basking in the glow of SPC's glorious "Three Days in March", so all is right with the world.

We had one recruit on campus this past week and two more are coming in next week, so things are starting to heat up. Peacockblue may be on target with his intelligent guess.

The recruit this week was a guard and for 2012. Next week at least two are expected but I'm pretty sure one is another guard or swing, also for 2012
