Was at Rutger's game last night. BU came back from big first half deficit and made it real close at the end. Erving from BU was throwing in 3's from all over. Big men were not dominant but played efficiently on boards and setting picks. As with all our games, a solid effort on both ends will be needed to pull this one out.

Looks like BU will be a formidable opponent. This week's layoff comes at a good time. We really have a lot of walking wounded for a team that's only four games into their schedule. Hopefully, Conley, Jackson, Burke and Ferguson will be more up to speed. Home court advantage should help our cause.

The attention to BU leads me to believe we are treating the Hall as our Trap Game.

If Conley and Jackson are healthy we stand a chance of pulling off another Big East upset. Would be nice to beat Rutgers and Seton Hall in the same year.

Looks like it could be a repeat of the Georgetown-Tennessee game last night.
" BU owns a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series dating back to 1973 and will try to earn its fifth straight victory against the Peacocks. The Terriers will look to accomplish the task behind a revitalized defense that will have the opportunity to do something not seen in over 50 years, holding three consecutive non-conference opponents below 50 points. The Terriers started the season allowing 75.5 points per game against the first four opponents. In the last two contests, BU held George Mason to 48 points and followed up by limiting Coastal Carolina to 44, marking the first time since 2001 the program prevented non-conference opponents from reaching 50 in back-to-back games. Great "D" so far by the Terriers. SPU down 13-4.

Down 17-6. Terriers playing great "D". "BU has all the energy" per the color announcer. SPU with one field goal in the first ten minutes. Watson, a guard for BU, going around our "D" like we are statues. What a frosh!

22-6. BU doubling Conley and Tucker, creating lots of turnovers. Cutting off Raymond; we have been well scouted.

Color announcer says Watson is one of the all time leading scorers in the Philly Public School League. Color announcer also says BU much more intense. While that is true, it's obvious BU is also much more talented offensively.

28-7. Every time Conley gets the ball, BU runs at him and he turns it over. Color announcer killing SPU's lack of intensity.

What is the all time lowest halftime point total for us?

4 minutes to go; down 30-7. One field goal. 1-16 from the floor, I think.

37-19 @ the half. BU has had all the answers.....Washington hit some threes, but BU guards penetrated at will, scoring and dishing. "BU has a lot of offensive weapons", per the color announcer.

Washington on fire, but we have no defensive answers for BU's lightning quick guards. DJ Irving looks like Kyrie Irving.
