Thought some of you might want to hear a quip I picked up this week from a veteran Philly bb observer. To paraphrase: Fulton is the most valuable hs player in the Philly area this year. Did not say the best, but undoubtedly based of his contribution towards making a team with only one other returning starter one of the tops in Philly this year. High claim for a 5'9" kid on his way to a small school in NJ.
Let's hope this translates next year to a team that is able to reload, rather than rebuild.

NG beats Roman Catholic 70-62 . Lamin with 30 points on 10-20 from field including four threes . He has now led this team which graduated all four other starters to 6-0 start in tough Philly Catholic League . I believe they have now beaten five of the six teams picked over them in preseason by some of the Philly experts . Way to go Lamin !

Ted Silary's site has his comments on game , particularly on Lamin's play , and link to interview with Lamin . Interviewer comments that Fulton already talks a lot with Dunne . Fulton is quoted as saying coach (Dunne) always says he wants me to be be ready to come in , right away , and play TO free basketball . Silary's game comments that Fulton had four TOs in first four minutes in this game but also says he was TO free in second half . He had 4 assists in addition to 30 points . One Pennsylvania service now has Neumann-Goretti at #3 in state which is solid achievement with Lamin as sole returning starter . I guess that qualifies as reloading rather than rebuilding .

Lamin and NG play in Monteverde Invitational on Thusday , Fri and Sat . Field includes Findlay and Charlotte Christian which NG plays in first round . Chance for Lamin to get some pub and enjoy , I assume , lot better weather than we are enduring ; eight inches in the driveway and another 12+ on the way . White shit !

Looks like weather has caused some schedule changes ; appears NG will now play Huntington in first round . I believe this is the Huntington from W Va that is among the usual national high school powers . If so , could be tough assignment for young NG team .

Huntington , #54 nationally , too much for NG ; 73-55 . Reportedly , NG was one of two teams that had the travel problems that led to the rescheduling . Lamin had 22 points in loss .

NG wins two of three in Florida with close one over Charlotte Christian . Lamin with 19 points . Wonder if he'll be texting Danny Stewart about his future team's win over Danny's team today . Stewart is very good with a couple moves to the basket that were not frosh like for MAAC big . He is gonna be a good one for Broncs for four years .

NG edges St. Joe's and Speedy 77-74 to remain unbeaten in Philly Catholic league and to go to 17-4 on the season . Lamin goes 11-22 for thirty . With game tied , he brought the ball downcourt to hit deep pull-up three at the buzzer .

You Tube has number of videos of Lamin's last second pull-up J to beat St. Joe's . The shot itself not that impressive since he banks it in , but the quickness , squaring and elevation getting it off from long distance are .
