Lamin getting less than 20 minutes in last two blowouts. Looks like they're trying to give some learning time to less-tested, underclassmen. N-G is loaded. Wish we had gotten in early on Stewart of Rider who, in my opinion, is MAAC's best freshman. Maybe, with Lamin, we get lucky with the younger Stewart next year.

The younger Stewart decides to play with his older brother or with Lamin ? That would be 50-50 , not bad odds - but he appears good enough that there will be a lot of offers for him to consider .

Congrats in order for Lamin. Named Phila. Catholic League co-MVP along with Niagara recruit, Green, of Archbishop Carroll.
Will sorely need him to generate some scoring for us next year. Check of today's Loyola box shows that over 85% of the points from our seniors.

No doubt next year is rebuilding; unless of course, Coach adds two new front line players who can contribute and Samuels AND Prescott can both score consistently. That is an awful lot to ask. Let's hope Dunne's pitch to SPC recruits this spring is: "Immediate playing time up front for the defending MAAC champs."

Your use of the words "Catholic" ,"Green" and "seniors" might be interpreted by some as being politically provocative.

Next year and for the forseeable future we should be loaded in the backcout...even if someone leaves. Hall, Samuels, Raymond, Prescott, Fulton and Ffrench. Blaise IS a player, just got lost in the schuffle this year. Now if JD can find a needle in the haystack!

Permit me to draw from the Alan Grayson school of political debate. I will dispose of the Sludge hammer and attempt a less acrimonious form of expression that hopefully will reflect a new found sensitivity and civility. In keeping with this new persona, may I begin by suggesting a new and seemingly more correct moniker for myself. ______Abdul Ramirez Sitting Bull + $25.00

Fulton with 16 pts., 6 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals leads N-G to 59-55 win to capture Philly Catholic League Championship. On the down side, he was 4-13 from the free throw line, many coming in the closing minutes after Neumann had opened up a sizable lead. Niagara recruit Green had 30 for Carroll.
In post game interview, quoted as saying it had nothing to do with nerves; just preparation for his next stop in J.C.

Quote from Lamin after Tues. win:
Ironically, though Fulton now runs the show and will do the same at St. Peter's, his previous three seasons were spent as a wing guard and that circumstance, when you think about it, enabled him to get a good head start toward 1,000 points.
"I played with four great players," he said, referring to the 2009-10 ballclub. "And now this group is doing great things and probably surprising some people."
When asked whether he expects to hit the 1,000 mark in college, Fulton laughed and said, "I'm hoping so."
He paused, then added, "One thousand assists. Yeah, that's what I'll be looking for. One thousand assists." "

Anyone familiar with Burgos from Paterson Eastside? He's an excellent point guard, good size, very good dribble-penetration skills. Excellent floor leader. Would be a great SPC fit.

Burgos: I believe he transferred in from NYC. The only reason we would be interested is if our PG recruit decided to go elsewhere.
