Quadir had 12 points and 12 rebounds in MC&S first game and 5 and 11 , respectively, in second game . Both were very easy wins over , I would guess , weaker competition .

Those are very impressive board number for playing only about half of the games, albeit against some very weak competition. Don't expect to see much in his point totals as the team is very talented, shares the ball, and will likely send all five starters to D-1 schools. MCS is a Charter School and has some impressive scholastic numbers, sending some 98% of its mostly inner city graduates to college.
On a recruiting side note if one hasn't seen. Fellow recruit, Howard Sellers, has taken a big step up in play, transferring in to Coatesville H.S., a 4-A PA power that has sent a number of athletes to D-1 schools. This should test and provide a better measure of his ability as his current low ranking may in part be due to the level of competition.

And Sellers had 25 of his team's points in a 64-59 loss to Norrisville last night.
Interesting note on Welton is that three of his teammates were on the Inquirer's SE PA list of four all area teams , but he was not mentioned.

I'll be watching the Cowboys thump the Steelers, but great PG matchup Sunday @ 5PM. Our own future Peacock Wyche takes on the Hudson Catholic Hawks and their Robert Morris recruit, Kavon Stewart.

Quadir with 12 points and 18 rebounds in another runaway last night . Comp will now get considerably tougher with South Shore NY and Imheltop in the next few days .

The competition getting a lot tougher seemed to make little difference to MC&S . South Shore was ranked as high as #3 in NYS and has pg already signed by UConn . MC&S beat them today by 20+ including 41-15 margin in quarters 2 and 3 to break game wide open . Quadir had 6 points . That's one impressive win .

HC with 64-46 win over Prep after jumping to big early lead . Trevis had half of Prep's points including three 3 pointers plus 5 rebounds and 4 assists .

Just watched the last few minutes of first half and the second half between MC&S and previously unbeaten Imhotep . MC&S remained unbeaten with a 53-50 win . Quadir had 4 points . He looks active and athletic ; at this stage , he appears primarily a rebounder and defender . I would take a Ryan Bacon kind of guy in a heartbeat . Maybe ? Not one of the primary options in half court offense . He did have a couple key rebounds in last few minutes of competitive game .

Quadir had 18 points , 15 rebounds tonite in MC&S 90-75 win over pretty good opponent . The night before Trevis had 15 points and nine assists in Prep win . Sellars did not play in last game from what I could ascertain .

Quadir led MC&S in points and rebounds tonite with 12 each . Those are impressive stats in a low-scoring (54-46) win over a Norristown team that came into the game 7-1 .

Wyche led Prep with 22 points in a 20 point loss to a FL team, ranked #2 in the USA, coached by Kevin Boyle. Buddy said TW scored often on running floaters, beating his man off the dribble. Time will tell, but looks like an excellent signing at this point. (no pun intended).

Ironically, Wyche was recruited by Boyle and played for him at St. Patrick's. When Boyle left for greener pastures and St. Patrick's ran into financial problems Wyche decided to transfer. I spoke to Boyle about Wyche and he had nothing but good things to say about him both on and off the court.
