SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP)—Freshman forward Anali Okoloji has decided to leave the Seton Hall men’s basketball program and pursue transfer opportunities.
Pirates coach Kevin Willard announced the move on Thursday, saying Okoloji hoped to get more playing time at another school.
Okoloji appeared in 16 games, averaging just under two points and a rebound in 3.3 minutes. The New York City resident had a career-high nine points against NJIT on Dec. 19.
More playing time.. would probably be available...

I saw this yesterday and thought it might be a good fit. Here is the problem though, I believe we have only two ships to give. If you give one to a player that has to sit a year it leaves us with only one ship available for someone to come in and help immediately next year.

Beyond the obvious choice that we need to fill for the immediate two, kid isn't good enough to swallow all the issues he brings. Made the tour of high schools, complete with academic lapses, fitting a profile only a Gonzo would love. I can hear Willard giving thanks all the way from South Orange.

Regarding Anali Okoloji.........there's no interest on our part. We don't need to help Seton Hall by taking their malcontented castoffs. We're not that desperate and furthermore we finished with a higher RPI then Seton Hall.
