Anybody else watch Jimmer doing his thing against Florida in first half . Not hitting his outside shot but still keeping his team right there with the Gators . For a Peacock fan and a hoops junkie , I kept having KeeKee flashbacks - not comparing their talents directly because Jimmer obviously has better range , quickness and handle than our great did .
But the remarkable similarity is that every player on the other team has him marked as the guy , and he still finds a way as KeeKee did so many times for us . I get the same 'wow , how did he do that feeling ! ' I literally get the chills watching this guy do everything on the court that he does under that level of pressure . Jimmer is playing against better guys than KeeKee did but he is also playing with a lot better guys than KeeKee did .I still get a kick out of many MAAC fans - when commenting about all-time MAAC bests dismiss KeeKee as just a scorer . KeeKee wasn't one of the best MAAC players that I have ever seen . He was the best one , and he played for our Peacocks . Edit - My apologies to Lionel - KeeKee is the MAAC player ever among the teams currently making up the conference .

Watched Jimmer and their are a few similarities. On the other hand, Jimmer has a tremendous crossover and also great ability to shoot with his left hand as well. Also his elevation on his jumper is incredible. Similar to Kee Kee in that he's tough to stop when everyone knows he's going to take the shot or drive to the hole.
