Thanks Peacock. I assume this closes the door on Reid & Clarke. Only article I could find is behind a paywall.

Looks like he is well traveled, played a year each at Njit, Indian hills cc, rider, & Texas Weslyan. Didn’t put up big numbers until last year at Texas W where he avg 18 ppg. No idea what the level of competition is there as they play in the NAIA. Coach has shown he can get the most out of some of these nomads.

His strong point is as a 3 point shooter. Had 39% at Texas. Was higher at other venues but lesser shots taken

If Tanksley can pass well, Randolph and Bakare should get their share of open looks.
Washington had about 10 assists all season and I believe Houge’s could have been counted on one hand. Reid was not a pass-first PG.
We should be able to distribute the ball much better on offense, but scoring ability on this roster (will miss Corey and Houge!) seems to be a big question mark. For that reason, I like this late signing.

Our last late signing with a st Benedict’s credential was Estrada who we also got in August. Let’s hope lightening strikes twice

Off topic but I find it a little concerning we are still seemingly down two assistant coaches. I believe practices have already begun.

In 2023 Bakare playing for Rider scored 11 points against us. Was First-Team NJ All-State and led the state in 3 PT. shots made in his Senior year. His overall college stats are not that impressive but maybe he's a late bloomer who just needs a chance to get some meaningful playing time.
