A big body. Was a McDonald’s All-American nominee coming out of high school. Lost a year to injuries. Could be a nice “under the radar” pickup.

Spc91, big body indeed. With that FG% sounds like he plays with 1 hand on the rim. Good thing. I like it. Now to find a sinewy player like Washington. Go Peacocks!

Is Reid’s eligibility in question? Read an online story this morning about St. John’s players being denied a fifth year. Facts sound eerily similar to Reid’s first year in junior college. Thought this was a lay down for him. Apparently, not so.

Thought this was a lay down for him. Apparently, not so. Yes it is. I saw the same thing and you’re right. Basically the NCAA said the 20-21 basketball year doesn’t count. So if you played in that year you still have 4 years to play. If you didn’play you would still have your 4 years to play which Reid has (3 with us, 1 at juco and didn’t play in 20/21). I think the outcome of their case would also determine Reid’s eligibility.

Send it to court and let the same judge that gave the guy at Manhattan his 8th year.

We signed two players with good height and size, but their stats are not overwhelming. My trust is in Mason and must give him a lot of credit for getting us to the NCAA Tournament in his second year. Replacing Washington will be a challenge because we were a different team with him in the lineup. First team Sophomore MAAC players are hard to find. Hopefully, we can get a game changer with our next recruit.
