It looks like to me, worse case scenerio, SP needs Niagara to lose 1 game (at Siena go saints, or at Marist). If they lose either of those games, SP gets a bye, regardless. That's to say Q, FF, Marist and Rider winning out. However, Marist at Q eliminates all the above winning out. However, SP controls own destiny, just win out baby! Go Peacocks!

If SP wins out (which is very possible. Both games should be a 1 possession game) and Q loses out (entirely possible) and FF splits (very possible), SP wins the MAAC.

Does anyone know who owns the tie-breaker between SP v Niagara and SP v Marist? I think we are on the short end both ways.

Does anyone know who owns the tie-breaker between SP v Niagara and SP v Marist? I think we are on the short end both ways. Since we split the reg season vs each of those schools it would come down to record vs the top team and then descend to each team below if still tied. Niagara definitely has the tie breaker over us based on their 2-0 vs FF and 1-1 vs Q (only way we tie them would be to lose both remaining games, in which case we would be 0-2 vs both FF & Q.) Marist is still up in the air since we each have to play quinnipiac. They have beaten FF once so they own that tie break. If we beat Q and they lose to Q AND Q finishes 1st we would then hold a tie breaker vs Marist if we have same ending record. However thinking it through in that scenario we wouldn't finished tied...so I give up lol.
