Peacock, thanks for the article. I wish JuJu well but with all the guys that transferred, I really don't follow them or their careers. Having said that, with NIL etc, I don't blame them for leaving. Matter of fact, I probably would have done the same especially if my coach left. The only 2 guys I see occasionally are Lee and Rupert. Both are having very solid seasons. Of all the guys that left, Edert is the one that really needed to rethink. The bad thing is, a couple, few, several on this SP roster will probably do the same thing. Extraordinary difficult to be a successful mid major program. As always, Go Peacocks!

My loyalty is to Saint Peter’s not to players who left before graduation. All I wish them is good health. My belief is success at a marquee program will only encourage future movement in that direction. That’s something we don’t need more of. As stated previously, the portal and nil have damaged mid major basketball . The MAAC can be exciting to watch in its highly competitive mediocrity. Io Pavo

As much as I agree with Cindy I have to say I felt a bit of pride watching juju outduel quinerly in Memphis vs Ole miss. Juju was terrific and made the game winner while quinerly couldn’t match him at the buzzer. I don’t have a case of the could have beens just a sense of our guy outdid mister hot stuff scandal story

He was front and center in the Arizona payment story. I know for a fact that Villanova spent thousands on fbi and outside counsel investigations before offering him and that both the president and bot had to sign off on scholarship offer and then it didn’t work out after all

I like following Juju because he gave us the extra year. I hope he does great down there.

figgy.....had to post. Like you, as much as I agree with Cindy ( usually 90+ % of the time ) I do follow certain players who have left. Most I do not care much. But I do like certain players, not that many , in college basketball because of my perception of their overall skills> Strickly a personal opinion.
Thus regarding JuJu I've liked his skills and type of game from Day 1....saId so. As a result I've watched all of Ole Miss games on Espn+. Had a great game against highly touted Memphis....22pts. 9 assists and no turnovers. Scored 6 of the last 7 pts. of a very tight game. Can't stand the Ole Miss Coach ( you know why ) but Ole Miss has several great players so JUJu will be more of a distributor and role player but is very important to that team. Just enjoy watching him play. That's all.....Best to you and Cindy.

so far he is a beast, honestly many of the transfers are actually doing really good at new spots. Speaks to Sha ability to recruit and develop imo

I have to agree with Cindy. They left for personal reasons, so be it. I have no desire to follow their exploits elsewhere. My loyalty goes to the 2023-24 players.
