Heckuva game last night. Hitting 58% fgs usually translates into a win. Reid and Bland v Rutgers were 1-14. Tonight 9-14. Hogue is the real deal. I'm happy to see Washington back and I believe he's 95%. He played without fear and favoring his shoulder. I know he was 0fer from 3land but his stroke looked good. I didn't notice Hogue limping but I'm sure he's good to go. As as the press goes, Dreamweaver is spot on. IF, SP can figure out the press, they should have a bunch of layups. I remember Knight used to say he loved to play against a press. Fool's gold. Ask UNLV. Anyway, great to see a split at worse in Buffalo. MAAC is wide open. Go Peacocks!

Peacocks have been consistently inconsistent throughout the season so far , and also within individual games. Success yesterday was due the ability to hit from the perimeter against a flaccid Niagara defense that allowed many open looks. Failure yesterday came from repeated failure when the Purps pressed. Any trip to Buffalo that results in a win must be considered a good one. Quoting my good friend Loyal, “We are playing tomorrow with house money.”
