23 turnovers.....ouch!! Combined with abysmal shooting spells defeat. Reid 0-10 from the field, not a good sign. We laid a big egg on this one. Keeping Washington out of the line up was wise. Save him for another day in conference play. He wouldn't have made enough of difference in a blow out game. Maybe I have rose colored glasses on, but I think we are better than what we have shown so far this season. Getting Washington and Diahame back will certainly help the cause.

Sorry for the double post on my end.....internet has been very slow. Regarding the team, we do have some positives regarding players like Washington, Zeigler and Houge. Tanksley is out for the season, but he is another bright spot that brings hope to the program. Go Peacocks!

Eport I agree with you. Other than tonight I have been pleasantly surprised with our players. I’ll chalk up tonight as a bad match up against a power 6 team while we were undermanned. Our weaknesses were certainly glaring tonight. Will find out more this weekend. Buffalo trip even more daunting as Canisius has looked as good as anyone in the MAAC.

I'm glad I missed the game. Bland and Reid 1-16. 27 fouls. 19 turnovers. 11-21 FT's (coming into the game one of the best FT shooting teams in country). 23% shooting.
However, Hogue must have played well. Outrebounded Rutgers, but as Cindy mentioned missing 42 FG's certainly gives you a good chance to outrebound. Can you imagine if we didn't have that many ORebs?
Burn the tape and on to Buffalo. Go Peacocks!

Couple of thoughts, totally unrelated. It could be worse. Siena blown out Sir by Albany, crosstown rival by 35.
Finally, I know SP lost by 31 and had several problems. My question is to anyone that watched the game was there EFFORT? If so, I'll chalk it up to a bad night.

There was effort, but unfortunately it didn't translate into results....just a bad night.
