Good pitching numbers. Lord knows we have always struggled to have good pitching. Past games of 27-0 or 25-2 will hopefully be a thing of the past.

I like this new coach's attitude. Flip the Script is the hashtag. Seems like he is making strides getting some impactful recruits.

Yes, the new coach seems to be making some serious noise in recruiting. Baseball alumni got the below list of recruits for next year in January and I saw on Twitter that he has announced several more.
A 2nd Team Star-Ledger All-State Pitcher from NJ (9-1, .77 ERA, 67 K's in 45 inn)
A 1st Team All-County and All-Conference Catcher from NJ (.391 BA, 6 HR's)
A 1st Team All-Hudson County selection who played for Saint Peter's Baseball Alum Dave Hoffmann at Bayonne High School
An All-Chesmont Division Pitcher from PA (1.76 ERA)
An All-Region 6-7A Pitcher from Georgia
A 1st Team All-League Outfielder from Seattle, WA An All-Region Pitcher from Arizona that was previously committed to New Mexico State
A Perfect Game All-American Pitcher from Florida
A JUCO shortstop from a top NJ Junior College who hit over .300 as a freshman
A 1st Team All-Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Outfielder that played in the JUCO World Series
A Division 2 Transfer Infielder who played in the Division 2 World Series
A Division 1 Transfer Pitcher and former Hudson County Pitcher of the Year

This coach is really upping recruiting efforts. He's landing guys that normally don't make their way to Jersey City.

Like they say.....pitching is 90% of the game. Of course hitting and fielding are very important and it looks like we have some of that as well.

It's refreshing to see that the baseball program looks to be headed in the right direction. And the softball team won 30 games this past season. Hopefully something special is brewing at Jaroschak Field this spring.

Looks like the coach got another pitching commitment. This one from South Carolina. Have we ever had a baseball player from SC?
