The sample is small ; stats can be misleading but the differences are marked so I will let each of you to decide how meaningful the following is .
First four games - fg% 38.2; 3pt% a horrible 23.9 ; assist/TO ratio 0.58
Last six games - fg% 46.9 ; 3pt% a terrific 47.9 ; assist/TO ratio 1.1
The first sample has one MAAC horrible home loss ; so does second . The overall record of opponents in first is 16-19 ; the second 20-31. No Desi factor really ; he played 3/4 of one game in the four game first sample and one game of six in second . Three point differential probably explains a lot of better overall fg % and assist/TO ratio but sort of begs the question . Does better three shooting open up the court and make everything else look better or does better overall play ( passing , movement etc. ) make three shooting easier . Travis might account for some of difference ; believe he sat for two of four game first sample .
I'll take some hope that this positive trend but would be interested in others' views .

Another statistical tidbit for those on the board who believe it is as simple as foul shooting . Our foul try % made in our six losses is a terrible 61.7 ; in our four wins , it is 62.8 . Geez , I guess it is that simple .
