Not many on this board have seen him play, but he was one of the greats. Hew gave many of the bigs fits.

One of the outstanding Peacocks who sometimes gets overlooked when all of us go down memory lane . He could flat out score the ball . RIP .

Although we graduated in the same year ('65) I didn't know Timmy all that well...but I did see him play. Typical Don Kennedy recruit, a decent/good high school player who became so much better through his college years, much in the manner of O'Dea, MacMahon, Grant and so many others.
As a basketball player he was truly amazing. Not particularly fast or quick but got the job done against players with much bigger reputations. His biggest basketball asset to me was a great pull-up 12' jumper from just inside the foul line...a lost art in basketball today. Tim was never a big deep threat but once by his man he would simply pull up and hit that short jumper...very, very smart player who knew when to shoot and when to pass. Did I ever see him take a bad shot? Doubt it.
Anyway, aside from basketball Tim had that nice easy going way about him. Don't think he ever considered himself a star. Condolences to his family and the St. Peter's basketball community.

O/T has captured well. Very savvy athlete who made the most of his ability. Excellent short range shooter, including free throws, no one played the game any smarter.
R.I.P.

I'm one of those older gentleman that was lucky enough to see Kehoe play. St. Patrick's famous high school coach, "Bussy Fox" took our high school team to the JC Armory to watch the Peacocks defeat Iona. Kehoe was all over the court on both ends of the court and was the leading scorer in the game. I watched him play on TV numerous times.....in those days the Peacocks were on Channel 9 quite often.....cable and ESPN did not exist. Anyway, I do remember his pull up jumper and some of his floaters in the game. Being 6' 0" tall, I never made it to the next level, but I did model my game after Kehoe. The short pull up jumper and the floater have become a lost art, and it is good to see the floater making a come back. I remember taking a floater in a high school game and hearing people in the stands say "What was that", but silence took over when it went in for two points....just another era...... my thanks to Mr. Kehoe.....R.O.P.

I remember Tim very well. The team was, as I recall, quite small and Tim in general always appeared to be so slight on the court. He could play though.
My condolences to his family and friends.

I graduated with Tim and saw him play many times. He was an outstanding player and an even nicer person!
My sympathy and prayers to his family.

Tim was a year ahead of me at SPC and I had the pleasure of seeing him play many times.
