Senior Day ceremony will begin at 1:41 PM where they will honor Roy Clarke, Latrell Reid, and Oumar Diahame. Yeah, I’m a little shocked at that last one too.

SP -3 and 140. Everyone summed up last night's game pretty well. Nothing to add. 27 fouls?? Need Saturdays game.
Hopefully, Reid goes to grad school. I would think he could play if he wants. I don't see Diahame playing again. It's been 2 years. If I had 1 question to ask Bash would be if Oumar practices on the scout team.

Hoping Reid might get another year and come back. Oumar doesn’t surprise me as he has been here 4 years and hasn’t been able to playthe last two. Wish him well in his future.

This guy said it all. Q in first game also was 24-30 from the stripe. Both teams had 23 fouls. They also outrebounded the Peacocks, 33-27. If we keep them off of the line, SP wins. Big day today. Go Peacocks!

Not a good half. 52% for Q. Gotta play better defense. Washington cant do it all.
6th year guards are tough to beat.
Riggins would be a great left tackle in NFL.
Let's go Peacocks!

That was a forgettable game. SP cannot play that style. Q hit 70% of their shots (fg's and ft's). I'll say this, Q will not win the MAACT. If Rider beats SP Thursday, they are my pick to win the MAACT. The bad thing is, I think SP could play Q 50 times and result would be the same. For a team to hit 60% of fgs in 2 games... that's not an anomaly, but a sequence.

We chose not to double down on their inside players, and Q’s center and power forward scored easily inside. We were probably fearful of leaving their guards open from three, and today we saw why. With little interior defense, it’s “pick your poison” vs. Quinny. Very tough matchup for us and Q looked like an old-school MAAC, Top 100 club today.
All that said, we were a 3 point favorite today. Just have to hope, if we get to the Semis, they don’t shoot well from three.
Marist comeback today relegated us to a 4/5 matchup with Rider on Thursday at 9:30 PM, in the much tougher half of the draw. Game will be a tossup, then Quinny awaits the winner.
We were 1-7 against the top 4 MAAC seeds this season, beating only Marist. Will have to outkick our coverage to make a run in AC. Not impossible, but a very tall task.
🤞🏻

Have to also add SP press is ineffective against Savion Lewis, taking away an advantage Peacocks can exploit over most MAAC clubs.
All that said, if Quinny shoots 40% from three instead of 60%, the game is down to the wire.
One game at a time; Broncs and Baggett Thursday.

Quinnipiac couldn't miss today. When a team shoots 56% overall, 60% on three's, and 14-15 from the line they will win almost all the time. Part of the high shooting percentage was due to all of the 2 foot layups they got underneath. Quinnipiac was bigger and stronger than SPU. We just got out muscled underneath.

Anything can happen down in AC. Gonna be another war with Rider, if we make it past that who knows…I wouldn’t be shocked to see The Mount.

We were not capable of guarding anyone today. I suspect that we will not be able to ever beat this quinny squad. They are really the only team in the Maac who speed us up. Half was 48-40 which should have been the score with 10 mins left not 20 mkns left. Their bigs destroyed us inside and many perimeter shots were very open. We fattened up on the bottom half of the conference and did little against the top half. Need to have our guards control pace not dribble into trouble and make unforced errors on order to have a chance in ac. Hope we can get the annual rider tourney gag but we need to play well enough to give them a reason

Best analogy for us would be the frensley team which got wacked twice by Manhattan then upset them in Maac final. Might be the last time Maac got 2 bids. We went in as a 15 and lost to Marcus camby Lou roe Derrick kelllogg umass. Gave them all they wanted for about 30 mins. Had them tied with about 10 mins left but faded late. Manhattan got an at large As a 13 and beat Oklahoma before losing. No 2 bids now but magic can happen in tournament.

Figgy is right. Q speeds up everybody. We cant play that style. If we can keep it in the 60s with limited possessions, we have a chance.
