We could have really used Houge tonight. I'm confident we can beat them at home if we make some 3's because they will be throwing up a 2-3 zone against us for sure. Also, tonight wasn't our best defensive effort.

I'll say this for FF, they handled the press better than any team I've seen in the MAAC. It seemed like they were getting layups every possession. SP didn't get back. Casey is light years ahead of Jay Young.
Sunday, big game (all are). Canisius is a wounded bear and nobody knows how they will respond to a horrible showing, thus far. Go Peacocks!

Overall, I thought we matched up well with Fairfield. Our shooting, especially from three point range was not very good. As someone indicated in an earlier post, I think we can handle Fairfield in Jersey City. Houge certainly would have helped last night. I look forward to seeing the Stags again. For now, we need to take care of business. Without our usual level of energy on defense, any team in the league could beat us, especially on the road. It was good to see Randolph making a few shots. Hopefully he is out of his funk.

I agree on Randolph. Could be a nice spark off the bench. Now hopefully that rubs off on Bland. He’s been abysmal.
