Confirmed L. Reid in latest video. That has now established 13 players in various videos. So no more hope for Ndfeo showing up when the roster goes up unless one of those 13 is a walk-on.

There are 14 players listed. One over the limit. Wonder what the reason.

Maybe KC's coaching the golf team too! But in all seriousness, a major surprise and game changer for this season.

Maybe one of the freshmen is a preferred walk-on?

I read in star ledger that because of covid exemptions ncaa limit is now 15. I think it was in reference to seton hall taking in a 6’10” kid as a 14 the player. Maybe I’m misremembering what I read but I think that’s what it said

The issue is not amount on the squad which can include a covid exception, but from what I read the school can not fund more than 13.

Admittedly, not being a big KC fan my first reaction is mixed. Second reaction, wondering how Sha will handle all or most of his big guy recruits. Very limited playing time to develop our "big"guy recruits....same old story!. Would guess that frustration will set in and some will transfer.
Probably, most on thisBoard will disagree strongly with me but if I was Coach ( thank God I'm not") I would not take KC back. Thank him but move on and try to develop the new players. KC's absence was definitely a loss but it was time to move on. I can understand the excitement as well as the short term fix . Again, sort of mixed feelings. Let's see how it works out. Plenty of room to follow what happens.

Coach, I totally agree with you. I have mixed feelings as well. However, from a selfish standpoint, I'm glad he's back. As Pride pointed out, he is a game changer. Moreover, he very well be a MAAC championship changer and NCAA bid changer. Defensively, SP looks well above average. Hopefully, offensively, we will shoot better. Last year it came down to making shots. With KC back, look for more 57-53 games. 62-59 games. Which I like because I appreciate defense. Coach, you do make a great point about developing younger players. With KC's return, it will definitely take away minutes from younger players. Hope all is well in NJ. As always, Go Peacocks!

With Sha’s approach, Sow, Rupert, Oumar, etc. will have a chance to show their stuff. If any of our young front liners excel, they will get time a d force the Twins to earn their minutes…which is a good thing.

No mixed feelings here. I’ll take a Player of the Year candidate over a front line with little to no experience. Iona is still going to be the clear favorite but KC coming back at least puts us back in the conversation.
