Seems like a game of rent-a-player. If this keeps up who will have an interest in Mid-Major Basketball ?

I hope he has success in the portal. Obviously he had higher expectations coming out of high school yet things did not pan out at two schools though our lack of regular practice facilities no doubt impacted both Kamba and the rest of our players.

With the current state of college basketball, Sha needs to do a better job of finding transfers capable of contributing. IMO this is the one area where he has clearly lacked compared to the previous staff. We got little to nothing out of Bostick, Brake, and Kamba. Nearly 3000 players in the transfer portal. Hopefully we can get one or two that can make an impact for us next season.

Pride you are exactly right. I really never thought of it that way, but you're correct. I didn't realize Bostick was a transfer but Brake and Kamba contributed little. What is interesting, and you folks would know better than I, but I followed verbalcommits last year and knew that SP was having a hard time recruiting (signing) players. I'm not sure if Kamba and Brake were signed late to fill the roster or not. Also, I think you answered a question from me on another topic in regards to players being immediately eligible the following year. Correct me if I'm wrong, (I am often), but next season I think everyone that transfers now, Ndefo, Kamba etc, will sit next year. To be honest with you folks, if players transfer year after year and are allowed to play the following year, it's going to be a disaster. Go Peacocks!

Transfers this year won’t have to sit a year. Once the change becomes permanent, each player will have one time to transfer as an undergrad without sitting a year.

Noah Kamba is transferring to D2 Southern New Hampshire. Best of luck to him.

I wish the young man well. Looking at VC, it says Dasher will be a senior but expected to RS. I would hope that's not true with what Pride mentioned in another post concerning immediate eligibility. If he is the lone senior, needless to say, it will be a short Senior day in the new Yanitelli Center. Kinda reminds me of Kentucky on Senior Day. Anyway, it seems SP has 5 juniors ready to go and as seasoned veterans I look for good things to emerge. KC's loss is big but I look for a player to come to the forefront and spur the Peacocks on to a good year. Looking forward to the season. Go Peacocks!

Jack, I think, it goes like this. Isiah Dasher, Edert, Banks, Lee, and the Drame twins. Silvera, Diallo and Diahame. Rupert and Sow. I may be wrong, but I think it's accurate. 2 scholarships left. Go Peacocks!
