Peacocks open -3.5 on the road.
Anything can happen of course, and Marist is playing much better. Hopeful our talent edge does the trick🤞.
Will JD zone us?
“Trap game” prior to Monmouth and this is JD’s Super Bowl. Won’t be easy.

He has no animosity towards SPU, and he also has bigger goals than just beating SPU. Tonight's game will most likely be decided by Marist 3 point shooting. Over 40 percent, Marist wins. Under 40 percent. St. Peter's wins. Your young guys will outboard us, no doubt.

For our benefit I hope you’re picking Marist to win or at least to cover.

I am hopeful that happens tonight. You guys will probably get a nice number of offensive boards. Your efficiency on putbacks and 2nd chance points will be another key

Lack of defensive intensity and too many turnovers against a slower team. Flat as a pancake. That was a possibility, and here we are.
JD giving Taylor and Watson wide open standstill threes...0-4 so far.
Long way to go, but unless intensity picks up on both ends, our guys will stub their toe here.
On the plus side, F. Drame and KC playing well

A beating, pure and simple. There are at least 5/6 Teams that can win the MAAC Championship. We are as good as any. Sha's job is to get the Team ready. Hope that happens. Hopefully, tonight was a "one off".

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy basketball. Our freshmen played like freshmen. Thought Majak looked good as he continues to develop.

Marist out rebounded us. All desire.
We shot 15% from three.
Many lazy passes generating unforced turnovers.
Ballgame.

Terrible result. Two games in a row Jones has hurt us. Can’t blame it on Freshmen mistakes. Jones passes make me wonder if they play defense in practices. Keep him off court as much as possible. He almost cost us Monmouth game and he killed us early tonight I’m pulling my hair out. We have great potential if it weren’t for the collective IQ.

No question, big beat down. Marist wanted more than we did. Over the top shooting. Watching our offensive flow has convinced me how valuable Lee is to our game.
