Thanks for starting this. For the record, I did not make those last two posts under the name Guns of Navarone on the voy.com message board. Those were not me. They were someone using my name. The messages in question: www.voy.com/29890/23457.html and www.voy.com/29890/23445.htmlI hate the offseason. Go Peacocks!

I'll be away for a few days so nothing will show up. There are a lot of things these boards can do that I am not familiar with, such as quoting a specific message you want to reply to.

Impossible to control the posters on Voy if someone wants to be disruptive. I'll allow most anything and disdain Political Correctness, but I also understand others having their positions. So I allow free discourse and only moderate if it goes off the edge completely. When I get back, I hope to stir the pot with my comments on the end of the season and another topic that I have had with another poster.

Thanks for your efforts ,Peacock. I don't think many on the voy board are aware of what got posted on Sunday night. It was incredibly vile, malicious, and disgusting. The number of posts, there must have been fifty in a short period of time ,speaks to a very sick individual.

From the Record of 6-4. Old Tappan- Iselin Kennedy.
Old Tappan, playing as the home team Wednesday, got off to a fast start again by scoring two runs in the bottom of the first. But the misfortune of the weather still came back to bite the Golden Knights.
Had the game been played on Tuesday, Kennedy’s standout Brian Schroeder wouldn’t have been available to pitch. But he was available Wednesday, entering the game with two outs in the first and stopping the Old Tappan attack cold.
He went on to pitch the final 6 1/3 innings, allowing only two hits. Schroeder also crushed a solo home run over the left field wall to tie the game at 2 in the third.
Once Schroeder got the lead in the fourth, he wasn’t about to let it go. A senior headed to St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, Schroeder (11-0, six saves) spent the first half of this season as the Kennedy closer.
Appropriately, he shut the door on Old Tappan by striking out seven of the final nine batters.

Brian Schroeder-Star Ledger Pitcher of the Year
"Schroeder will join former teammate and close friend Chris Grimes next year at St. Peter’s, where he is expected to play third base and serve as the closer."
