I believe Ensor is in the house and it has been my experience that the refs are more likely to act even handedly when they are being observed. I hope so after speculation that tonight might be a 7 on 5. Hoping for Antwon to shake loose tonight.

Cundy, we both started a new thread at the same time. Let's go with yours. Lot's to follow. Wonder if Boone will get more playing time based on his last performance. Also looking for Elias to wake up. He could help us big time tonight.
Siena board states that Long will miss the 1st 4 minutes due to missing the team bus.

For those watching on ESPNU, interesting intro with some insight into Siena's scouting report.

Cindy...really funny. ESPN U went inside the Siena locker room to hear the coache's pre game plan. An Assistant Coach named Watson in discussing Trevi told his player to force Trevi to go left. Prtetty stupid as Trevi may go better to his left than his right although he's equally good both ways. Shows you how much Coach's know!

Same old problems. Can't hit open shots and thus go into scoring droughts. On defense our guards try to protct the middle and then never get oot to protect against the three. Think we definitely have the better team if we can correct those two defeciencies.

Same old problems are usually hard to correct (humor intended!) Unfortunately tonight even our good shooters (Jones, Portley) are missing the open looks. It's obvious but Wyche is the one player we can't afford to lose with no legitimate back up PG.

True. Only Welton keeping this marginally respectable.
Lost handling the ball without TW. If he goes down for any length of time, it's "wait till next year".
Portley way off, getting good looks.
Down 9 near the half.

Boone is raw and overmatched inside, but he does two things no other forward does for SPU:
1. Creates opportunities for others off dribble penetration.
2. Can finish inside.
May never be a MAAC star, but may give us some things, in spurts, we can't get from our current forwards. Seems to deserve rotation time; can improve, only a soph.
Down 11 at the half. Fingers crossed in unison for Trevis!
